Friday, April 1 at 6pm, join us at the Bixby Library in the Community Room for a free showing of "The Danish Girl" nominated for four Academy Awards in 2015. Starring Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander, the film tells the story of Einar Wegener who models for one of his wife Gerda's paintings then begins to live as a woman Lili Elbe. Lili eventually undergoes one of the first gender reassignment surgeries in the 1930's. We will project the movie onto our big screen. Free movie and popcorn! The film is rated R by the MPAA.
