Dear Neighbors,
As the artistic director of the Burlington Choral Society, I'm happy to announce our spring concert. In "Hidden Haydn," I will be conducting our 80-voice chorus, with orchestra and soloists, in musical gems that have not been performed in the area for many years: "Spring" and "Summer" from The Seasons, and two shorter works: "Insanae et Vanae Curae" and "Te Deum Laudamus."
Soloists Mary Bonhag, soprano; Adam Hall, tenor; Benjamin Dickerson, bass; members of the Burlington Chamber Orchestra; and pianist Claire Black join this celebration of light and life.
The concert will be at Elley-Long Music Center in Colchester, VT. Tickets are available at the Flynn Box Office, flynntix.org and (802) 86-FLYNN. Prices are $25 general admission and $20 for students and seniors.
