President Obama is expected to make his final decision on the Keystone XL Pipeline within 2 weeks after the State Department issues its final draft of the National Interest Determination in the next few months. That determination will be a strong indicator what decision the President will make. If it recommends approval, we want to be ready to let him know we object. Tens of thousands of people, across the country, have already pledged to protest approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Whether as a Pledge protester or to support those who are protesting (e.g. media, legal, or moral support, etc); anyone who joins in our training is welcome to participate (though certainly not obliged). Here's the link to sign up for our October 12th local preparedness training at the St. Albans Free Library: (you may have to copy and paste the link into your web browser)
