From Byrd to Bach: Music for Harpsichord and Recorder. On Sunday, April 3, Diane Huling and Sara Lisniansky present a concert of music for harpsichord and recorder at the United Church of Christ in Greensboro. The performance begins at 3:00, with a suggested donation of $20. The program spans the entire Baroque era and includes a wide range of styles - from Elizabeth virginal music to a prelude and fugue by Bach; and from French dances to a Dutch recorder virtuoso's variations on a popular Italian song; to ornately embellished works by Handel, Telemann, and Scarlatti.
