"Water Matters" - Two Thursday Events

Thursday, March 31 at 7 PM at Hinesburg Town Hall: A panel will discuss to what extent our regulations ensure clean water, identify gaps, and suggest what towns might do to more fully protect Lake Champlain and the Champlain Valley water commons. Delicious refreshments served! The panel of guest speakers for the evening will include: Jessica Louisos, of the South Burlington Planning Commission and Milone & McBroom, Inc.; Karen Purinton, Colchester Town Planning Office; Tony Stout, Lakeside Environmental; and Andres Torizzo, Watershed Consulting Associates. Marty Illick, of Lewis Creek Association and South Chittenden River Watch will moderate.

Thursday, April 7 at 7 PM at the Carpenter-Carse Library: A free showing (with popcorn) of the film "What's Your Watermark?" with discussion and a summary of March 31 conclusions following.
