Happy Spring, South Hero! This weekend, join us for the fourth walk in our 2016 Naturalist Program- a fun walk up Fox Hill at Crescent Bay Farm. Ellen Gawarkiewicz of the UVM Field Naturalist program will lead us on the trail and share her knowledge of Vermont's native forests. We'll learn to identify the trees at Fox Hill by bark and bud, play games, and enjoy a spring morning together! Crescent Bay Farm's Nick Lane will also join us as we walk through the sugarbush. Nick will share his knowledge of sugarmaking and his experience growing up on this conserved family farm!

Stick around after the walk for Vermont Maple Open House Weekend festivities at Crescent Bay Farm! A pop-up farmers' market will take place in the Snow Farm Vineyard & Winery tasting room. Bring the whole family for maple sugar samples, and check out an array of amazing local products! If the weather is right, end your day with a visit to the sugar house to see maple sap boiling in action!
