The Richmond Land Trust invites members and all Richmond residents with an interest in local land conservation to its annual meeting and pot-luck supper at Richmond Elementary School on Saturday, April 9, from 6-8:30 p.m.
Fritz Martin, RLT’s chair, will give an update on the group’s recent activities, including the project to replace the aged dam at Gillett Pond. The featured speaker will be Walter Poleman, PhD., a Senior Lecturer at UVM who has studied the changing face of Richmond’s landscape across millions of years. Walt is also director of UVM’s GreenHouse Residential Learning Community, and he chairs the Vermont Land Trust’s Board of Trustees.
RLT asks those who come to bring a dish to share plus plates and utensils. The group will provide beverages.
