Spring is nearly here! Whoopee!!!
This spring Branch Out Burlington!, in conjunction with the Village of Essex Junction Tree Advisory Committee, are offering a Tree Keeper Training The training session is led by the most experienced urban forester in Vermont--Warren Spinner, Burlington’s city arborist, and Essex Junction’s Tree Warden and member of the Tree Advisory Committee. Elise Schadler, Technical assistant coordinator with the VT Urban and Community Forestry Program and UVM Extension will also be leading the presentation with Warren. The program will cover information on how a tree grows, where to plant a tree, how to plant it and care for it, and how to prune your trees correctly.
