Please join the Mount Mansfield Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Sunday, March 27 at 9:30am for "Dog Spelled Backwards" by Rev. Jennifer Pader

What drives us to seek a larger purpose in the universe than what we perceive through our senses? Why does the spiritual impulse make our lives more meaningful? On this Easter morning, we will ask: What is divinity, and where do we find it? Are we just clods of earth…or are we stardust?

The Rev. Jennifer Pader was the Affiliate Minister for Pastoral Care of the Fourth Universalist Society in the City of New York (part time) for 12 years, and is now Consulting Minister (part-time) on pastoral matters at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Burlington (FUUCB) until August 2016. She is really delighted to have been invited to be the 2nd annual Guest Minister at the Mount Mansfield UU Fellowship, serving the 2015-16 worship year. Jennifer is a graduate of McGill University, Union Theological Seminary, the Hunter College School of Social Work, and the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Psychoanalysis in New York. Her theological specialty is the intersection of the psyche and the soul. Jennifer also teaches as an adjunct in the Department of Psychiatry and Religion at Union Theological Seminary. In additional to ministry, she is a licensed clinical social worker and certified specialist in Health/Mental Health. A former longtime resident of Manhattan, Jennifer and her husband, Joe Davidson, moved to Burlington two years ago with their two cats and three dogs. Joe works at the Williston branch of the multinational IT solutions company Cognizant.
