Isn't it is such a thrill to see a live theatrical or musical performance? Strong voices, great dancing, music that leaves you humming show tunes after it's over, a magical set with lighting that transports you into each scene, and the brave people who put themselves out on that stage, WOW! Are you ready to get out of the house to enjoy a night out? There is a great opportunity coming up soon! The Mt. Abraham Union High/Middle School presents their spring musical "Little Shop of Horrors", with performances at 7:00 p.m. on March 31, April 1 and 2. There is no matinee show; the show is rated PG-13 and may not be appropriate for young children (perhaps a little scary, but the scary plant is really amazing!). Tickets are $9 each. You can now select your seats at Martin's Hardware Store in Bristol. While you are there, do some local business, or at least say a big thank you to Kathleen and Martin Clark for generously agreeing to serve as the box office for these school performances. The Clarks are super supportive of our youth in so many ways.

Hopefully neighboring forums will also read this message, but to our Lincoln community, come out and support the hard work our local students have put into this show! It was a very competitive audition, so you can expect a great performance. Lincoln cast members include Finnian Brokaw, Rowan Warren, Eliot Brett, Cecilia Vichi, and Kaela Thurber. You don't want to miss the fabulous artistry of Emma Ober on the production team, with Nancy McClaran. I'm guessing there may be other Lincoln people involved on the tech crew or as musicians too. I am so excited to see the rest of the cast from our neighboring towns as well. These students, directors, and production team have put their hearts into rehearsing and preparing for this show. Please support them by filling the seats in the auditorium and giving them the positive audience feedback you are all so good at. Don't miss out, get your tickets now!

Sally Ober,
Super excited proud parent and general supporter of these awesome events
(I hope I got all the facts right, because rehearsals are going on every night now and I don't stay up late enough to get my facts checked by our resident member of the production team.)
