Silent Auction to benefit future restoration of the Old Creamery. Up for grabs is a complete cider/wine making and bottling setup.
The Energy Committee along with Tinmouth resident Martin Smith of The H.E.A.T. Squad, will have a table set up providing valuable weatherization information and will be signing up residents for audits so Tinmouth can be in the running to win the VT Home Energy Challenge (a challenge where the town which does the highest percentage of weatherization gets a $10,000 award!) Forget the cosmetic improvements, invest your home improvement dollars where you will have them come back to you in savings...Weatherize, weatherize, weatherize!
The Fire Department may display some of their really awesome fire trucks and some really neat equipment, like heat sensing tools, the latest smoke protection gear. This is an opportunity for children of ALL ages to sit in, or climb up on a real fire truck.
You may even spot someone walking around the Center on stilts!!
