Lamoille Home Health & Hospice To Hold a Community Conversation on Alzheimer’s Disease at the Johnson Public Library, Johnson, VT
A series of community conversations on important health topics for Seniors will be presented by Lamoille Home Health & Hospice and will include an upcoming talk at the Johnson Public Library.
Monday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Johnson Public Library, 7 Library Drive, Johnson, VT, join the conversation, led by Meridith Vaughan, RN, Long Term Care Director at LHH&H on “Caring for a Loved One with Alzheimer’s Disease”. About 15 million people care for a loved one with Alzheimer's in the United States. Knowing what to expect and preparing for the challenges, can help people with Alzheimer's live better with the disease and also stay in their homes longer. Each person's situation is unique, but having good information can help you be ready for the challenges each stage may bring. Lamoille Home Health & Hospice is experienced in educating and caring for homebound individuals who need skilled nursing and personal care. This informative discussion will help you recognize the telltale signs of Alzheimer’s Disease, how families can cope, and what local and regional resources are available.
Light Refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
