The Pirates of Penzance will board the Plainfield Opera House and steer her toward laughs on Thursday at 10:30 am! They'll also be sailing around the state throughout that week, starting in the Black Box at Burlington 7 pm, so if you can't make this one, find another showtime at InitiativeWaldorf.org/gala.
The Pirates' tour is the lead-up to the Pirates & Fools Gala, the Initiative's annual fundraiser that keeps this scurvy crew in a Waldorf high school that's accessible to all. Who knows, with your cheers and support, maybe they'll grow up to be fine upstanding landlubbers some day!
Tour dates are family friendly and admission-by-donation. The Gala is $45/person, babysitter recommended. It will take place at Goddard's Haybarn Theater on Friday, April 1, with live music, cash bar & Gala auction bidding at 4:00, dinner at 5:30 show at 7:00.
