Please come to a free screening of a very important new film, "This Changes Everything"
This Wed, March 23rd at 7pm at the Playhouse Theater in Randolph (NOTE starting time, 7:00pm, not 7:30, the regular starting time at the Theater.)
"This Changes Everything" is a powerful documentary film based on Naomi Klein's bestselling book.
Filmed over 211 shoot days in nine countries and five continents over four years, This Changes Everything is an epic attempt to re-imagine the vast challenge of climate change. The film presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines, from Montana's Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond. Interwoven with these stories is Klein's narration, which connects the carbon in the air with the economic system that put it there.
Discussion to follow the film. The screening is free (donations welcome).
Sponsored by BALE (Building a Local Economy), the Randolph Playhouse Cooperative, the Randolph Peace & Justice Coalition, Vermont Interfaith Power and Light, and 350VT
