Sharyl Green, former resident and teacher at the Jericho Elementary School has written a book, You Can't Lock Up the Moon. She will be discussing it at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library on Wednesday March 23 at 6:30pm.  It is a middle grades novel about a girl whose mother has recently gone to prison and her efforts to stay in touch with her mother.  The book celebrates the resilience and creative determination of the 10 year old and her capacity to build community.
