VTel Wireless Presentation on 14 April in Halifax

Past event
Apr 14, 2016, 6 to 8 PM

On Thursday, 14 April, VTel Wireless will hold an information session at the Halifax Community Hall in West Halifax, VT from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. As VTel Wireless expands its service in Vermont, VTel Wireless is holding sessions to describe their 4G LTE service and answer questions. 4G LTE means Fourth Generation/Long Term Evolution and is the 4th version of mobile communication technology, allowing for large amounts of data to be sent and received wirelessly. In simpler language, the term describes the version of the highspeed, wireless internet that VTel Wireless is providing to a growing number of users in Vermont.

The following on-line tool will able you to search for service availability at any address in Vermont: http://www.vtelwireless.com/high-speed-internet/search-for-availability. (Please note that if, for some reason, the “check availability” function does not work for you, try using a different web browser.) Also, VTel Wireless recently implemented a new on-line storefront that lets customers set up service and purchase their equipment if VTel Wireless’s model determines they would have a high probability of good signal strength from VTel Wireless. You can access this store by going to http://www.vtelwireless.com/, then click on Shop, and then click on Sign Up Now (Beta).

The event, sponsored by the Halifax Community Club and Whitingham Free Public Library, is free and open to public. Residents of nearby towns are welcome to attend. VTel Wireless will provide donuts and cider. For more information, contact Andrea Spaans via e-mail (spaansa@vermontel.com) or telephone (802-885-4444).
