Since 1985 men and women in their Sr years have been selected from High Schools across the state to participate in the annual Essex Rotary All -Star Hockey Classic. The Event features a men's game @5pm (SB skaters selected are Brendan Lahue and Kyle Ehler-Vock) and women's @3pm (Casey Johnson and Erin Church selected) at the Essex Rink Saturday 3/19. The events afford these outstanding athletes an opportunity to be recognized for their achievements on the ice and to play one more game against some of the best high school hockey players in VT. Many participants will then be selected to play in the VT vs NH annual Make a Wish All -Star game in June. All proceeds support several local, national and international charities. Tickets are available at the door and prior at Essex Rotary.
