The Burlington Wine & Food Festival is planning its 7th annual festival for this June 18th at the Waterfront Park in Burlington. This is a great event that incorporates local specialty food and spirit purveyors with local restaurants and global wines. Vermont has long been known as a pioneer for the farm-to-table movement and the Burlington Wine and Food Festival is a celebration of that movement. At this stage of planning we have over 30 Vermont specialty food & spirits vendors participating, 11 of the best restaurants in Vermont and over 200 different wine selections to taste, all under one big tent. The price of a ticket includes samples from specialty food & spirits vendors, small plates from the restaurant booths, tastes of over 200 fine wines from around the globe as well as face time with many wine makers and importers and seminars being hosted throughout the day by chefs and winemakers. Currently an 'early bird' ticket special is being offered, save $20 per ticket so it is a good time to buy. This is truly a great event and I hope to see you there!
