LU Multicultural Arts Festival

Past event
Mar 22, 2016

We are excited to invite you to our first ever Multicultural Arts Festival! The Festival is Tuesday, March 22nd from 5:00pm-7:00pm. There will be refreshments and many door prizes. The entire evening is free, so bring your family and friends!

Performances will include the High School Band, Chorus and Dance 1 students and there will be a gallery walk of artwork made by the Basics of Arts students. Our common theme for this evening is learning more about different cultures. Our focus this year has been on the Abenaki, East Indian and Irish cultures. Students have traveled to the Vermont International Festival and learned from guest presenters throughout the school year, to deepen their understanding of these diverse cultures.

There will be two guided tours for the evening, so two chances to see each performance. Feel free to stay for both tours and extra time to look at the wonderful artwork.
