Are you interested in arts and crafts, curious about invasive plants, or learning more about the Randolph Floodplain Forest? Sign up now to reserve your spot for any or all workshops!
The White River Craft Center in Randolph is hosting hands-on workshops on stone/mineral pigmentation of crayon wax taught by Nicholas Neddo, and the art of papermaking and origami taught by Louise Barteau on Saturday and Sunday April 2nd & 3rd. We will be using Japanese knotweed that was sourced from the Randolph Floodplain Forest during invasive plant removal efforts. Your creativity will help to actualize invasive plant potential for one of many uses while illustrating our own potential to restore balance in ecosystems. After these workshops, take your creation home as a keepsake whether it be paper, crayons, or origami.
$15 class fee per workshop upon entry. Some participants may qualify for a discount. Before the workshops start, there will be free interpretive tours of the Randolph Floodplain Forest hosted by Nate Enright.
