March 19th at Montpelier High School -- Capital City Farmers’ Market annual Sugar on Snow, features 2016 syrup from Silloway Maple and local, traditional pickles and donuts from market vendors. Event is FREE, but donations appreciated.

(Just kidding about "bring your own snow," Alan LePage had frozen some for Saturday’s event!)
Note: Sugar on Snow runs from 10 -1, however the farmers' market ends at 2pm.

Saturday’s market also highlights a wide variety of spring greens, including microgreens, spinach, salad mix, kale claytonia, mache, mesclun and parsley. Come early, they go fast!
