Guitarist Barry Hayes will perform at the Cabot Maple Fest this Saturday. Presenting classic & folk rock from the 60's as well as more recent tunes, he presents a family friendly acoustic set suitable for all ages. Come in and enjoy some live music at the CSPAC building. Two shows, 10AM-12 noon & 1-2PM. Along with performing music, Barry is well known as a photographer and for his musical and stage work with the St Johnsbury Players, Danville Summer Singers, and other NEK & NH theatre troupes. Performance is free, but contributions appreciated.

At noon, come enjoy some fresh Improv by Cabot Community Theater. The Cabot Community Theater Improv Group will be hosting an hour of improv in CSPAC during Maple Fest this Saturday from 12-1. They will engage in various theatrical games and other shenanigans: come and be entertained, and join in the activities if you feel so inclined!

Cabot Community Theater will present Oscar Wilde’s gem, “The Importance of Being Earnest: A Trivial Comedy for Serious People” at 2:30 p.m. This production features a multi-generational cast of local actors committed to excellent, affordable, inclusive community theater: Todd Jones, Cameron and Karen Mueller-Harder, Maggie and Marion Palmiero, Dick Payne, Ethan Socks, Lila Stratton, and Abigail Walker. Direction is by Megan Walker, with technical and other support from David Moody, Ellen Cairns, Lori Stratton, Susie Socks, Daria Babbitt, Cynthia Challener, Erik Mueller-Harder, and the Burke family. This production is being staged as a benefit, with all proceeds from the performances going directly to local organizations which help so many in the Cabot community: the Cabot Fire Department, Cabot Ambulance, The Cabot Chronicle, Twin Valley Senior Center, and the Onion River Food Shelf. Donations will be appreciated.
