At the Hardwick Community Meeting (STEP 2) on February 15th over 80 community members set 4 priorities for action to advance the community:
1) . Open a Recreational Center and Expand Recreation Opportunities
2). Expand Jeudevine Library Space and Services;
3). Build a School and Community Partnership and Develop Mentorship and Career Building Opportunities for Hardwick Youth; and
4). Enhance Hardwick’s Downtown and Build a Business and Economic Development Network;

On Wed. the 16th, The VT Council on Rural Development (VCRD) will bring a new Visiting Resource Team of state, federal, regional, non-profit, and philanthropic leaders to Hardwick to help task force groups as they develop action steps and resource ideas to move these projects forward. Hardwick has set an ambitious agenda; it can succeed in these goals if residents line up for action. These folks are coming to work with us and help us!
