George Plumb will discuss “What Is an Optimal/Sustainable Population for Vermont?” A growth-forever culture with finite resources has been proven to be bad for the environment and long-term sustainability, nor is it good for our economic well-being. George Plumb will discuss the problems of unsustainable population growth and its effects Wednesday, March 16, at 1:30 p.m., at Aldrich Public Library in Barre.

Free to OLLI members; suggested $5 donation for others.

The lecture is part of the spring semester program of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Central Vermont.
