Today and tomorrow, the Barre Congregational Church (the church with the red doors at the park) is hosting a chicken pie supper and country fair. call 476-6869 for reservations at the 5 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. sittings. Adults $11, children under 10 $5, toddlers eat for free.

The country fair (today from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to noon) includes a silent auction and raffle. Prizes include Red Sox tickets and transportation (2014 season), marble benches, a 12x12 canopy, a Stowe getaway package and a golf package! $1/ticket or $5/6 tickets. You do not need to be present to win. The country fair also includes handmade crafts, book sale, jewelry, cutlery, Christmas wreaths, famous cookie walk and baked goods, jellies, pickles, relishes and other baked treats!
