The sap is running, the roads are astonishingly muddy, the red wing blackbirds have returned ... Spring must be just around the corner and we all know what that means! Mark your calenders for the first Saturday in April for the Fourth Annual Worcester Mud Season Variety Show.
Come out to celebrate making it through another winter (and what a strange one it has been). Enjoy all the great talent on display or better yet, get up there on stage yourself and share your hidden talent in front of friends and neighbors. (We're a very warm and friendly audience).
So get out your dancing shoes, pull out the saxophone from the back of the closet, warm up you voice in the shower, polish up your magic act, write a skit and cast yourself and your friends, memorize a poem to recite... you get the picture. We want to see what you have to share.
To sign up: Kids at Doty can pick up a permission slip/sign-up sheet from Katie O'Rourke, all others can call me (Laura Atkinson) at 223-4842. Once again the show will be at the school and will start at 6:30.
All proceeds benefit the Worcester Food Shelf and Community Kitchen.
