The annual sugar on snow party sponsored by the Starksboro Village Meeting House Society will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 2806 VT Route 116 in Starksboro village. This event has been held for over 50 years, and is based on the maple sugar socials held by the Meeting House in the early 1900s!

Enjoy delicious traditional maple sugar on snow, homemade doughnuts, sour pickles, and beverages. The syrup is locally produced. Tickets for this yearly favorite, perfect for the whole family and all ages, are $5.00 for a single serving, $6.00 for a double serving for one, and $3.00 for children 12 and under.

The town history (Bertha’s Book), Starksboro t-shirts, and more will be available for purchase. For event information, call 453-5227. The Starksboro Village Meeting House plans to rebuild the top of the belfry in the next few years. Your support is appreciated.
