Please join the Huntington Conservation Commission for a hike up Little Bald Mountain on Sunday, October 6th, 9:30 a.m. (the rain date is Sunday, October 13, 9:30 a.m.). Be prepared for a little adventure! We’ll hike along logging roads, sugaring roads, trails, as well as do some bushwhacking. Along the way we will look for interesting flora, fauna and fungi. You’ll be rewarded with a great view of the valley from the top. The round trip hike will take a few hours, so bring a snack/lunch to eat at the summit. This is a strenuous hike and is not appropriate for young children. Older, adventurous children and well behaved dogs are OK. Please RSVP to Cindy Sprague, cindys@madriver.com by October 4th.
