Disability Awareness Day

On Wednesday, March 23 the Vermont Coalition for Disability Rights (VCDR) will be hosting the annual Disability Awareness Day at the Vermont State House in Montpelier. Every year, VCDR hosts this event with partner organizations like VCIL to bring together people with disabilities, disability advocates, family providers and policy-makers from across the state to bring awareness to disability related issues. The event includes guest speakers, workshops and times to have lunch with local legislatures to discuss issues that are important to you.

We are working on ways to get a group of peers from around the area down to the VT State House in Montpelier. If you are interested in attending but do not have transportation, please feel free to contact Nate Besio at nbesio@vcil.org or 802-861-3092. While we cannot guarantee transportation will be available, we would be happy to work with peers on trying to find some.
