The Friends of Brown Public Library (Friends) will be holding a re-organizational meeting in the Library Community Room on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Northfield citizens who are library supporters, advocates or patrons are encouraged to attend.

The Friends provide advocacy and financial support to the library. They provide matching funds for library grants and provide funds for library programs and services such as the Summer Reading Program. The Friends advocate for the library's tax supported annual budget when required.

The Friends want to explore additional opportunities for advocacy and support of the library and they want to broaden their membership and identify new leadership for the organization.
