The Gift of the Forest: Wabanaki Maple Sugaring
Dr. Wiseman will present a discussion and examination of the "where and how" Wabanki may have collected maple sap and processed it into maple products. Oral history and linguistic evidence of maple sugaring by indigenous people will be discussed.
