March Task Force Meeting
The March meeting of the North Avenue Task Force is this Tuesday, March 8 from 6-8 PM at the Burlington Police Department Community Room.
Now that the vote is over, the pilot continues to move forward and it is more important than ever to let the City and the Department of Public Works hear from residents as to what you need in order to make the pilot implementation go as smoothly as possible. At this meeting, the DPW will share their latest design and implementation recommendations.
Let’s make sure that the City and the DPW are doing the best job possible through input and suggestions, as we’ve been trying to do for the last 9 months.
The preliminary agenda is below.
I’d also like to extend a special and personal invitation to Ward 4 City Councilor Kurt Wright to attend this next Task Force meeting. The other NNE councilors have attended regularly. While councilor Wright has mentioned the Task Force oftentimes in the media, he has yet to attend a single meeting. We would welcome and encourage his participation.
