Class Description: Whether you are struggling with feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, filled with worry, anxiety, lethargy, or are experiencing depletion, irritability, burn-out, depression or other mood challenges, Uplift Yoga class shifts you into feeling calm, confident, clear, and connected to what really matters in your life. In this "non-fancy” class, where being “good at” yoga is not to be worried about, you will learn to truly meet yourself with kindness and acceptance, and leave feeling deeply peaceful and uplifted.

Yoga has recently been the subject of many studies on mood and emotional well-being. The results show the powerful balancing effects yoga practices have on brain chemistry and relief of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other dis-eases that keep us from living joyfully. Uplift classes weave the best of the mood balancing practices, including breath work, deep relaxation, guided meditation, postures, and more, to deliver the most deeply healing, uber-therapeutic experiences to you. In each 6 week series we will have time to explore 2 different themes that will enhance the therapeutic nature of your experience in class.
