What: Zero Energy Now (ZEN!) Forum

Come learn how owners of homes formerly served by CVPS can work with a single ZEN contractor to:

• Weatherize your home and access up to $2,500 to help pay for it

• Install cold climate heat pumps or wood heat and solar electricity and access up to $5,000 to pay for them (plus up to an additional $2,500 for central wood pellet boilers)

These comprehensive energy improvement projects must reduce overall fossil fuel use and electric grid use by 50% or more.

ZEN contractors will help participants decide what measures make most sense for them, oversee implementation of all measures and review various financing options that can make this program cash flow positive, with energy savings off-setting the costs of energy improvements.
