"Animals of the North: What will global climate change mean for them?" This free talk by famous Vermont naturalist Susan Morse, founder of Keeping Track, will explore how habitat changes in the north are expected to impact wildlife. Featuring Sue's breathtaking nature photography and an engaging presentation style. Families are welcome! This will not be a gloom-and-doom presentation, although some options for activists will likely be discussed during the question & answer session that follows.
We are proud to bring Sue Morse back with donations collected at the door during last fall's Mountain Cat talk, and also proud to bring this to the Central Vermont community as a five-way partnership between Goddard College (providing space for the event), Cutler Memorial Library and Jaquith Library in Marshfield and the Plainfield and Marshfield Conservation Commissions. Donations will be welcome at the door to sustain an on-going naturalist speaker series in Central Vermont!
