Mar 10, 2016, 6 PM

Join as at Bent Northrop Memorial Library for a chance to learn about our state's history! On Thursday, March 10th, at 6pm we will be showing part three of "Freedom and Unity: The Vermont Movie".

This third installment is titled "Refuge, Reinvention and Revolution" - In the mid-20th century, political pioneers like Governor Phil Hoff, set the stage for historic change. Innovation was a part of life: in the work of early 'talented tinkerers' like Snowflake Bentley and Thaddeus Fairbanks, in the rise of IBM, and the arrival of the Interstate. In this segment, we witness the heartbreak of "eminent domain", the arrival of activists and hippies. Revolution was in the air and Vermont was changing. This film is 77 minutes long.
