"Fly by Night" Concert to Benefit Food Program

Past event
Mar 11, 2016

"Fly By Night", David Kaynor, Pam Bockes and Susan Reid, will play a benefit concert Friday, March 11 at 7:30. at Church of the Good Shepherd, 39 Washington Street, Barre, to benefit the Church of the Good Shepherd's Community Breakfast and warming ministries.

David, Pam and Susan have been playing tunes together for several years, and it is a rare and wonderful treat when they decide to take their blend of Swedish, New England, Quebecois and British Isles dance music out in public. David is a master of harmony, and has played for dancers throughout the US for decades. He has also traveled and collected tunes in Sweden. Pam plays exquisite guitar, selecting just the right chords, and tastefully accompanying tunes, as well as playing lovely melody guitar. Susan has been playing sweet, lively fiddle for dances, parties, weddings and . . . well more parties, for decades as well. As a trio, they have found their musical heaven.

Bonus: There’s room to dance!!

On Mondays and Thursdays members of the Church of the Good Shepherd provide free community breakfasts, feeding the homeless and others in need of a good, hot meal in the community, Every winter, the church expands the hours and stays open as a warming center. Both programs provide a life-saving service to people in need.

Please come enjoy some great music and support this vital program. $15 suggested donation.
