Two documentaries and a speaker, sharing stories of struggle and hope from the US, India and South Sudan.
Kimmy's Schedule is a documentary short (20 mins), about a few turbulent months in the life of a girl in US foster care. Film by Nilima Abrams.
The Tent Village (documentary short) is a rare look at India's roadside tent villagers, filmed by their teenaged children.
Peter Keny, former "Lost Boy of Sudan" will talk about his childhood experiences. Peter is currently a board member of sudef.org, which provides medical care and training in S. Sudan.
The event is FREE, with optional donations.
