This appearance is the program's Northeast Kingdom debut of these traditional oral stories from around the world told with music on Celtic harp and concertina. Some of the tales are thousands of years old, some were recently collected by the artists, all engage the audience on the strongest terms.

The Times-Argus called Tim Jennings and Leanne Ponder "riveting, macabre, and very funny," and Seven days said it was "a delight to watch. "

The Art House performance will feature several additional pieces, as the couple celebrate the release of their new live-performance CD.

Jennings and Ponder are widely considered to be among today's most outstanding interpreters of the traditional oral tale.
