Building and Restoring Stone Walls

Past event
Mar 2, 2016, 6:30 PM

This presentation, by Kevin Gardner, will begin by explaining how and why New England came to acquire its thousands of miles of stone walls, and how styles of building walls have changed over time. Other topics will include differences in approach between historic and contemporary wall builders, a discussion of restoration tips and techniques, and information about design and the acquisition of materials. A question and answer period will follow: feel free to bring questions specific to your own project.
This program will begin at 6:30 pm on Wednesday March 2, at the Brookfield Pond Village Church. Free!
