Act 46
Public Forum

Beginning at 10 a.m., as part of the Isle La Motte School Board Town Meeting Day, an Act 46 Public Forum will be held. Presenting this important and valuable information will be Mike Deweese, Act 46 – Grand Isle County Study Committee consultant, Andy Julow, chair of the Act 46 Grand Isle County Study Committee, Barbara Burrington, GISU Superintendent, and Barbara Callahan, Isle La Motte School Board representative on this committee. During the forum time will be allowed for public participation.

The goal of our Act 46 committee is to provide a financially sustainable, efficient, and quality education for our Island students. There are many phases to this goal, and many questions to be answered. Most importantly is keeping our residents informed to enable them to understand and, in the end, vote intelligently as informed citizens.
