Be ye Irish? Enjoy the wearin’ o’ the green and St. Paddy’s music? Then search out your green garb or buy a new green outfit and sally forth to Island Arts lively and fun Irish evening at McKee’s Island Pub & Pizza on March 13.

This year marks Island Arts fourth annual St. Patrick’s fundraising event and is shaping up to be even better than the last three. Celebrate this once-a-year Irish event with an authentic corned beef and cabbage dinner prepared by McKee’s Island Pub & Pizza, complete with Irish soda bread. Rousing music of Isle La Motte’s Seawolves will have yer toes tappin’ and yer body swayin’ as you enjoy old Irish favorites sung with gusto and enthusiasm. Added to the evening’s enjoyment and entertainment, a silent auction will offer many wonderful items to entice you to part with your green and join others as they bid for that one—or more—MUST-have item. At past events items in the silent auction have included dinners at stand-out local restaurants, beautiful handcrafted items, and gift cards. This year…well, come see what items command your attention and bid your bidding.

This memorable happening will take place on Sunday, March 13 with a cost of $25 per person. Tickets are available at McKee’s, Alburgh Public Library and Island Arts office in lower level of the North Hero Community Hall. Reservations can be made by calling Island Arts at 802-372-8889. You are also invited to call Island Arts if you have something to donate—perhaps something new and very nice, received as a gift but never used. Re-gift it to Island Arts, a non-profit 501(c)(3) local organization. Monies raised from this fundraiser will provide scholarships for youth to pursue their interests in the creative arts. Join in the festivities and tickets are limited to 75, so don’t delay!
