Montgomery, VT – A Regional Concerns Meeting for the project listed below will be held on Monday, March 21st, 2016 beginning at 6:30 PM at the Montgomery Town Office, located at 98 Main Street/VT Route 118, Montgomery Center. The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and Town of Montgomery.
Deck replacement project:
• Montgomery STP DECK (40) – VT 118, Bridge #19 over Trout River
The preferred alternative includes a deck replacement with traffic maintained onsite using phased construction.
The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, detour, and overall schedule followed by a question and answer period. Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Montgomery will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the projects.
