Biodynamic Farmer, Beekeeper and Educator to Speak March 11

Lamoille County Beekeepers Club is Hosting Gunther Hauk of Spikenard Farm and Honeybee Sancutary for a weekend of learning in March. Gunther is a Biodynamic Beekeeper, Biodynamic farmer/gardener, and environmental educator. He will be leading a free, public presentation on Fri. night March 11th as well as a full day beekeeping seminar on Sat. March 12th. Both events will take place at the Stowe Community Church on Main St. in Stowe VT in the Fellowship Hall meeting room. See times for both events in the descriptions below.

On Fri. night March 11th from 6:30-7:30pm there will be a free, public presentation. Gunther will give a deeper picture of that being we call the honeybee and what brings her so close to our hearts. He will put the bee crisis into a larger context, historically as well as the connection to the other crises we are in: agricultural, economic, social, spiritual.
