Sundog Poetry Center (sundogpoetry.org.) of Jeffersonville brings the second of four workshops in the ongoing series Navigating Life's Seasons to Montpelier on March 5.

Women in Transition is for women who are actively engaged in effecting a life change or who simply want to learn to go more with the flow as they chart their life course. This expressive writing workshop will offer participants a focused time to begin to think about and map out what's essential and sacred in their lives in the community of like-minded women. Women of all ages, backgrounds and experience are encouraged to participate to deepen the richness of this gathering.

This workshop will be held Saturday, March 5 at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier, 130 Main St. from 2:00 – 4:00. For more information about registration, please visit sundogpoetry.org. Each workshop carries a minimal fee; discounts are available for those registering for more than one workshop.

The series is lead by Mary Rose Dougherty, certified applied poetry facilitator in training with the International Federation of Biblio/Poetry Therapy. Mary Rose is a published poet and longtime college teacher of English literature, poetry and writing. She holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College. As a CAPF in training, Mary Rose seeks to help guide those who want to bring new growth and positivity to their lives. Visit The Healing Word at maryrosedougherty.com for more information.

Sundog Poetry Center is a nonprofit charitable organization whose mission is to promote poetry as necessary to the enrichment of our cultural lives, support poets in their work and create audiences for their poetry, and to provide ways to share poetry throughout the Vermont community.
