Fast Approaching!!

Shelburne's Town Meeting will be held on Monday, February 29th at 7:30 p.m. A community dinner in the Shelburne School Cafeteria will start at 5:30 p.m. The menu will be chicken parmesan, salad, bread, beverage and dessert for $6.00 per person.

Town legislators Kate Webb and Joan Lenes will speak in the school cafeteria at 6:15 p.m. about legislative matters. The Town Meeting will hear and act on the report of the town and school and officers. The proposed town and school budgets will be presented and discussed. Town Meeting will reconvene at the Town Gym at 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 1st for voting by Australian ballot on Town and School articles and candidates. Please go to the Town of Shelburne website for more information and to view the online Town Report. You may still request an early ballot or come in to the Clerk's office to vote early. Call us at 985-5116 to have one sent to you or email me at chaag@shelburnevt.org. You will have to check in with two checklists on Tuesday, March 1st to vote in the Town and Presidential Primary. Lines may be longer than in previous years due to this change in procedure.
