Full Moon Snowshoe Walk

Past event
Feb 20, 2016

Ready to say goodbye to winter? Let’s find some adventure in what remains of the season instead! Come with your family and friends to a Moonlight Walk along the Hardwick Trails on Saturday, February 20. A nearly full “Snow” moon will light the way; blue shadows will spill over the snow contours in the woods; maybe we’ll hear a barred owl. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight. After our walk we’ll have cocoa and hot drinks. Norma Spaulding and Sue Trecartin will be our leaders.

We’ll meet at the Trails Cabin (located behind Hazen Union School) at 5:45 pm. If you would like to borrow snowshoes, we have sizes for everyone from large to small. We’re hoping for a little more snow and a clear sky, but we’ll still go out unless the weather gets too cold or too sloppy for comfort.

Call Ron or Norma at 472-6517 if you have questions.
