Artist, illustrator and teacher Marianne McCann will give a “Felt Sculpture” program at Friday's free Tunbridge Library Winter Evenings program at 7 p.m.

McCann will show slides and sew gnomes as she talks about sewing, “a force for freedom and good in your life," the power of books, and how she researched and wrote her 2015 book “Felt Sculpture: Learn Hand Sewing and Patternmaking in 11 Projects.” Felt creatures will be displayed in various stages of assembly.
