Wildlife Tracking in Johnson Feb. 20

Eric Nuse will lead a wildlife tracking workshop on Saturday, February 20th from 10 AM to noon. The workshop will start at the Eric Nuse residence, 657 Maple Hill Road, Johnson (.6 mi. from Route 15 across from the Nazarene church, on the left
at top of the hill.) Eric will start with a short slide show of tracks and sign and talk about the citizen science wildlife inventory project. Then he will take the group outside to look at some animal tracks found along a short (1 mile) snowshoe hike.
The workshop is limited to 15 folks and no dogs. Youngsters with adults are welcome. Please pre-register by calling Eric at 730-8111 and leave your name and call back number. Depending on snow depth, snow shoes will be needed (or not). Eric has 4 extra pairs including some small ones. This free event is being sponsored by the Johnson Conservation Commission.
