PUBLIC NOTICE - MORRISTOWN/MORRISVILLE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD HEARINGS

The zoning applications described below require a hearing before the Morristown/Morrisville Development Review Board for approval. The Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday beginning at at 6:30pm to review the following applications:
1. §205 Central Business Zone, §320 Flood Hazard Area, §500 Site Development Plan Approval & §630 Conditional Use, applicant and landowner Town of Morristown is seeking approval to construct a 15x30 semi-enclosed music pavilion at the Oxbow park on parcel 21-164-1 in a numbered “AE” Flood Zone with a Base Flood Eleveation of 642 feet.
2. §750 Review and Approval of Final Plat, applicants Mike Paritz & Joni Lanphear are seeking approval for a minor 3 lot subdivision of parcel 08-066 at 31 Lanphear Road in the §260 Rural Residential Agricultural & §210 Commercial Zones on land owned by Janet Lanphear.
3. §210 Commercial Zone, §500 Site Development Plan & §630 Conditional Use, Mike Paritz & Joni Lanphear are seeking approval of a Retail Delivery of Goods & Services use via the construction of a 60x100 building on land owned by Janet Lanphear, parcel 08-066-3 on land adjacent to 31 Lanphear Road with frontage and access on VT Rte 15 E.
4. §750 Review and Approval of Final Plat, applicants and landowners Abigail & Michael Babcock are seeking approval to modify subdivision permit 2004-040 on Moose Rune Lane in the §260 Rural Residential Agricultural to allow administrative approval of zoning permits for the development of all 9 subdivision lots in a §340 Environmental Protection Area (Deer Wintering Yard).
5. §260 Rural Residential / Agricultural Zone, §510 Planned Unit Development and §750 Review and Approval of Final Plat, applicant Chip Percy requests a nine lot subdivision of parcel 16-099 owned by Dale Percy at 5999 LaPorte Road. The parcel contains a §320 Flood Hazard Area and a §340 Environmental Protection Area (significant habitat), both located approximately 750 feet from the proposed development site.
6. Recessed hearings that will also take place following the above hearings are as follows:
- A request by LH&A Realty to sell & store cars via the Commercial Use at 735 Brooklyn St
- A request by McMahon Chevrolet to build a satellite parking lot at 199 VT Rte 15W
